My wife Robin and I moved to Kentville in 1988, and bought a fixer-upper built in the 1880’s. We’re still fixing it up. At the time I owned and operated Paish’s Paint Store in New Minas with my dad, Bob. In 1999 we closed the store. My dad semi-retired and I went to Canning and managed Maple Leaf Timbr Mart and ran the paint department. In February 2016, I teamed up with Brad Patterson at Brads Decor Centre and continued to sell Benjamin Moore paint.
My wife works in the Finance Department for the Town of Kentville. We have two daughters, both graduates of STFX. Megan has finished her masters in occupational therapy at Dalhousie, and Holly has a degree in public policy and social research in Aquatic Resources.
I am very interested in the growth of Kentville, as it has so much to offer. I have loved living here for the past 30 years.
