I was born in Windsor Nova Scotia, but moved to New Brunswick at the age of 10. In 1991, I returned to Nova Scotia, with my wife, Debbie. We settled in Kentville, where we have raised our two children; Emily, age 22 (LPN at Evergreen) and Nic, age 19(hockey player for Acadie Bathurst Titan in the QMJHL). For the past 24 years, I have been the Owner/Operator of Jason’s Independent Kentville (formally Save Easy, IGA).
I am a Director with KBC, as well as Chair of the KBC Facade Committee and a member of the KBC ~ Events Committee.
I have received many awards from the town and other charitable organizations for my contributions and volunteer work
My interests are: Curling, former men’s provincial champion, two times as well as Brier participant, Avid golfer, Music lover, Enjoy watching hockey, especially my son.
