About:
Little Pumpkins is an all inclusive licensed child care centre. They use a play based model (Reggio Amelia) that focuses on the child’s interests while learning through play. It’s a place where kids have fun and often get messy doing so (which is a good thing!).

What You’ll Find There:
Little Pumpkins is for kids ages 18 months to 12 years old. They have before and after school programs and are open during Summer, March Break, inservice and storm days.They also serve healthy meals and snacks with Vegan and Vegetarian options available, from a chef with over 40 years experience.

VANSDA is a not-for-profit community development organisation with the mission of improving the quality of life for African Nova Scotians. Their motto is “Joining Hands To Build Better Partnerships”.

What You’ll Find There:
Programs that can help with pre employment skills training, Immigrant and Youth focused courses and a wide variety of skill development initiatives. VANSDA also promotes news, history, events and products that honour and support the African Nova Scotian community. Be sure to follow them on social media, and check out their Legacy Series Coffee.
