We are excited to announce that Kentville Business Community has partnered with Town of Kentville and Tides Contemporary Art Gallery to run Kentville’s inaugural mural festival #weARTkentville!!
The festival will take place July 23-25, and all activities will be outside and follow COVID-19 protocols.
We have some fantastic mural sites secured, and now we are looking for talented artists to make our town vibrant and colorful! The theme for the festival is ‘Tell Your Story’ and while anyone can apply, we are giving special encouragement to artists or teams of artists who are underrepresented in public spaces or have a connection to the community.
The deadline to apply is June 25th, and artists or artist teams will be notified on July 1st.
Are you an artist, but are not familiar with mural-making? That’s OK too – we will be running a workshop for any artists that need assistance!
